SORRY!!

Hello fashion followers! I just wanted to send out a sincere apology out to evryone who follows our blog! Its has been over a month since my last post... Body image and self confidence!

Hey fashion followers! This post will be a bit different because it will not be a trend update. It will be about body image and self confidence. This topic is extremely important and people everywhere need to learn about it. Many people look and themselves and they don't think that they are pretty or look nice. This is a huge issue espiecally for teen girls. They just need to realize that they are beautiful. They also have to be confident and not care about what other people think about them. All that matters is what YOU think about yourself. This can be very difficult in the beginning but you just have to look in the mirror and say " I am beautiful." Also, don't be afraid to wear some makeup or do your hair if it makes you feel pretty, because when you feel pretty you look pretty. Just make sure that you let your personality shine through. Funky Colors!

Hey fashion followers! We have a new trend update for all of you. This trend is bright, funky colors! This trend is pretty general but you have to know how to wear this trend....One of the most important things is to not go overboard. Also, if you don't like to wear bright colors, add in a colored hair extension, or you can wear a funky eyeshadow or lipstick. The most important thing of all, is to just have fun with it. This a time when you can get creative,this an espiecally fun trend for teens/tweens! Have fun!!!

Flare leg jeans!!!

Hello fashion followers! We have a new fashion update for all of you! This is the flare leg  jean! the flare leg jean is very wide in the ankle area, and look really good with boots! These jeans have always been in the fashion world but this fall, they are making a fierce comeback! The come in a wide range of colors but i love them in blue. These are not the only jeans though... skinny and boot cut are also very in. Don't be afraid to sport your favorite pair of jeans, but the next time you go shopping look into a fun pair of flare legs!

Chunky heels!

Hey fashion follwers! Sorry there hasn't been a post up in what seems like forever, but we will be posting a lot more often:)We have a new trend for all of you! The trend is the chunky heel! The chunky heel is a type of shoe with a larger heel. They look especially great with flare or boot cut jeans or pants. They come on boots and on standard heels!

Color Fading!

Hey fashion followers! We have a new trend for all of you today! The trend is still fresh on the runway, and that is color fading. Color fading is very similar to color blocking, except the colors are more gradient and blend into one another. It is mainly being worn in dresses like shown in the pictures below. Clutches!

Hey fashion followers! We have an amazing trend for all of you and that is the clutch. For all of you that don't know, a clutch is a type of purse that you carry in your hand like the one shown below. Clutches come in almost every color under the sun. They instantly add some spice to any outfit and make it look just a little more interesting. You can hold a clutch with a pair of jeans, or a long flowy dress for a more formal look. They also look great if you make it like a pop of color. Lets just say you wore all black, you could throw in a red clutch for an instant glam look.

How To Wear Heels!

    High heels have and in our opinion always will be a huge fashion trend. But in order to look beautiful they have to be wirn correctly. There are many different types of high heels, there is a type called kitten heels which are a very low heel are great for younger women in high/ middle school. Then there is the point toe heel which come in a range of heel lenghts and are always pointed near the toe area.Then there is the rounded toe. This shoes is pretty self explanatory, it has a round toe area! Up next there is one of the most famous high heeled shoes, and that is the platform heel. This shoe is usually pretty high and is raised near the sole of your foot, these can be pretty uncomfortable which is why we reccomend them to the 20 and over crowd. Last but not least, there is the wedge heel. These are usually pretty comfortable depending on the height of the heel. High heels com in a bunch of different patterns from zebra to polka-dot. High heels can be worn with nearly anyhing. Mia's favorite is wearing rounded toe with a long flowy dress. Even though Bethany doesnt like wearing heels, she would wear wedge heels with bootcut jeans. My favorite way is to wear rounded toe heels with a pair of dark wash flare leg jeans. Now with all of these tips you can look awesome in the heels that suit you best!

Long Vests :)

Hey fashion followers! Fall has brought us many new fashion trends, and one of them is long vests! Long vests look really nice over a tight dress or a pair of trousers.They come in a wide varity of colors from black to hot pink. You can purchase them in a solid color or with a funky pattern, but if you decide to purchase a pattern, pair it with a solid top or else it will become a hot mess!

Green Sheen!

Hey everyone! We have another fall fashion trend for all of you! This trend is fairly new for the season of fall, and that is emerald green! Emerald green looks amazing in long flowy dresses with lots of jewls that make the green pop even more. You can wear green with basically any color shoe, but we think that it looks espiecally great with black. Green also makes brown, hazel, and green eyes pop!

Animal Prints

Hey guys! This is our continued entry from royal blue. Animal Prints! Animal prints are totally attacking the runway and the modeling industry. Animal prints were always in in fashion, but now are coming back in an attack of the fashion industry. Everybody is going gaga for this lovable print. Experiment how you like to wear the pattern best.

Hey fashion followers! We have a great trend for you today, royal blue. Blue is a hot new color for the fall fashion industry. Every one is rocking it this season especially the celebs. A good way to pair blue would be with maybe a blue dress and brown boots and belt, but experiment with different colors and textures. Faux Fur!

Hey fashion followers! We have another fasion update for all of you, and that is the fashionable faux fur. Now don't worry faux fur isn't real animal fur,although you can buy real animal fur, it is really expensive and is extremely fragile. When you wear faux fur don't wear too much of it.Instead, pair a fur vest or jacket with a pair of jeans for a more casual look like shown in the pictures below. You can also get hat and boots that are made out of faux fur.

Welcome to the 60's!

Hey fashion followers! Seems like we can't let go of the past. New trends this fall are total flashbacks. We are now approaching the 60's, a time of new styles in clothing, music, art, etc. Previously, we mentioned color blocking, which is one the main components for these new mod pieces, as well as jewel tones and pop-out prints. To modernize this iconic look, pair a bright shirt with a simple pair of jeans or leggings; it's the prints and colors that stand out, so don't use crazy, flashy jewelry.

 

 

Booties are the bomb!

Hey fashion followers!! We have a quick update on a huge fashion trend this fall, and that is the ankle bootie. The ankle bootie is a boot that comes up to the ankle area and may or may not have a heel. They can be worn very casually or spiced up with a skirt or dress. We love to wear them with skinny jeans like show in some pictures below. They come in a wide range of colors like black and purple, but the most popular are black and brown. Fall loves red!

Hey fashion followers! We have a brand new trend for you guys. This fall, red is totally a home run in the fashion industry. These dresses we picked out have some of the fashion examples that red is being used on, but dresses arent always all the rave. You can pair red with your everyday style to have a flirty fun look. For example if you're not big on bright "out there" colors like red, and your more of a black and earthy kind of girl, then just pair a red acessory like a clutch, or shoe with your outfit.

Color blocks!

Color blocking is a huge fashion trend this fall. Color blocking is a trend that has recently bounced back into the fashion indushtry. Color blocking is when you take different colored fabrics and put them side by side on a piece of clothing. You can use totally different colors or different sades of the same color, both look absolutely fantastic.  Some examples are different shades of brown from the darkest to the lightest all esembled on a piece of clothing.More on this topic soon.
